Pam's Reflexology Banstead, Carshalton and Sutton in Surrey

The Treatment:

As a Reflexologist I do not aim to prescribe, diagnose or cure, but aim to support the 'whole' person and to bring about the quintessential Reflexology experience of deep relaxation and sense of well-being which will, in turn, help to restore balance to the body and mind.

The Treatment: The first step of the treatment process is the consultation. On your first visit this done to record your personal details, medical history and current state of health. Any questions you or the therapist may have will be discussed, any contraindications found will be explained. The treatment plan and rationale will be discussed and confirmed. This Consultation can take 20 to 30 minutes. For follow up treatments, feedback on your previous treatment and how you are feeling on the day will be discussed, this should take about 15 minutes.

Reflexology is a non-invasive treatment which, as it is only the feet that are worked on, requires that you remove only your shoes and socks and then you will be invited to sit in a reclining chair, lay back on a treatment table or to rest your feet on a footstool. Once your are settled and the Reflexologist will 'read' and wash the feet, then start the treatment with a Relaxation technique and there after various reflexology techniques will be applied. The actual treatment can last for anything from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

After your treatment you will be given the Aftercare guide which explains the possible side effects and how to gain the maximum benefit from the treatment.

You will also, if applicable, be given Homecare advice which may include self treatment using hand reflexology.
